Alan Kaufman’s acclaimed memoir JEW BOY was the last book published by the legendary team of Barney Rosset and Fred Jordan, who issued it in paperback and hardcover respectively. It has since appeared in other languages. Kaufman also co-edited with Rosset The Outlaw Bible of American Literature (Basic Books/Perseus),which received a front cover review in the New York Times Sunday Book Review.
