Dr. Haris Silajdžić, chairman of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was sworn in as the Bosniak member of Bosnia and Herzegovina's tripartite presidency on November 6, 2006.
- Born on October 1, 1945 in Sarajevo.
- Received his degree from the Faculty of Arabic language and the Islamic studies in Libya
- PhD on the subject from the American-Albanian relations
