
Joel J. Seidemann is currently an Assistant District Attorney and Senior Trial Counsel in the New York County District Attorney's Office, responsible in part for the investigation and prosecution of murders and other serious felonies. In 1979, he graduated from the National Law Center at George Washington University and began his professional career with the firm of Shearman & Sterling. Since 1982, he has been practicing law in the New York County District Attorney's Office. He is an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at Pace University School of Law in White Plains, NY, where he has taught for 10 years. Mr. Seidemann is also the author of In the Interest of Justice: Great Opening and Closing Arguments of the Last 100 Years,which was published by Harper Collins in 2004.
